Page 11-12: What Happens If I Sin? Can I Ever Lose My Salvation?
Hi everyone! This week we finish up Lesson 1. We'll do the last two sections of Lesson 1 on pages 11-12, "What Happens if I Sin?" and "Can I Ever Lose My Salvation?" I pray we are all getting the key doctrine, Assurance of Salvation, rooted in our minds and hearts. This is a key doctrinal truth to build upon as we continue with the study. God bless you in your studies and your testimony! Love, Brad

Pgs 5 -6, What Does God Expect of Me?
We just finish preliminary study #1. Everyone passed except Jennifer; she's still stuck on the Table of Contents. :) The content contained in preliminary study #1 is the most important part of this study; it's actually the most important thing you'll ever read, period. Nothing else matters, ultimately, unless you're a born-again, child of God. Furthermore, scripture states that in order for a person to understand God's Word, they must be saved (1 Cor 2: 10-14). Verse 14: "But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned." To use a figure of speech, you can't go to second base, without touching first base. What we just covered in preliminary study #1 is "first base."
This week we'll move on to preliminary study #2, "What Does God Expect of Me?" Complete pgs 5-6. I pray you all have a great week. I look forward to reading your comments!

Page 4: What I Did; What God Did
Hello all. I pray you are finding the study valuable. This week, we'll finish preliminary study #1. Please complete page 4 and commit to the reading assignment at the bottom of the page. It entails reading the book of John. Read one chapter a day. Memorize John 1:12, "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:"
To this point, no one except Brooke and I have posted comments. I know this family is not "quiet" - someone always has something to say! I encourage you to post a comment and discuss what the Lord has put on your heart regarding the study material.

Preliminary Study #1, What Does Salvation Mean for Me? Section: What God Promised Me (page 3)
Comments are now open for the section, "What God Promised Me" on page 3. Fill the blanks for questions A thru G, but remember to read the entire Chapter for the respective verse. For example, question A is Romans 6:23. Read Chapter 6 in its entirety to gain context. Also remember, this study uses KJV, so if your word doesn't fit the number of spaces, refer to KJV for the answer! You can access KJV at, www.bible.com, if you don't have hardcopy. God bless, Brad
